For agents and property managers

Get paid for the landlords you already know

You are the person landlords call when a tenant goes quiet, when rent is late, when a lease needs drawing up. PropTraka pays you for that relationship — either as a fee on the landlords you introduce, or as a better rate on the accounts you run yourself.

Introduce landlords

Point a landlord to PropTraka. When they open their own account and start paying, you earn 20% of what they pay, every month, for 12 months. The clock runs per landlord, so each one you introduce carries its own full term. Paid in cash to your M-Pesa or bank.

Run their accounts yourself

If you hold and pay for your clients’ accounts as part of how you manage their properties, you are billed 20% below list price instead. The rate lasts as long as the arrangement does — there is no 12-month cut-off on it.

Partners take one route or the other, whichever matches how you actually work. You can move between them as your business changes.

The details worth knowing up front

When you get paid

A fee is earned once your landlord’s payment clears, then held for 30 days — the window in which a payment can still be reversed — before going into the next payout run. Balances under KES 1,000 roll forward rather than being sent, so transfer charges do not eat a small payment.

How long it runs

Twelve months per landlord, counted from their first cleared payment — not twelve months from when you joined. Introduce someone in May and someone in July and each earns you a full year of its own. The rate is 20%; partners who bring consistent volume may be offered more, agreed with us rather than triggered automatically.

Tax, handled

Fees are agency income, so 5% withholding tax is deducted and remitted to KRA on your behalf, against your own PIN. It is your tax paid forward, not a deduction we keep. You will need a valid KRA PIN on file before any payout.

You can see your own numbers

Ask us any time and we will email you a private statement link: what you have earned, what is still in the holding period, what was withheld for tax, and every payout made. No account or password needed.

Joining is a conversation, not a form

We onboard partners one at a time so we can agree which route suits you and what your landlords actually need. There is no application queue and no automated sign-up — email us and we will talk it through.

Introducing software is not estate agency practice and this is a software referral arrangement, not payment for any property transaction. Rates and terms are set out in full in the partner terms and may be reviewed on notice. Nothing here is tax advice — your own filing obligations remain yours.
